Soup Kitchen Volunteers
Volunteers are needed to support Redeemers Community Soup Kitchen
feeding ministry in 2012.
New volunteers are asked to contact Marymperlin@gmail.com.
This will facilitate adding you to our schedule. All new volunteers
should receive a welcome letter with information about training
within a week of volunteering.
Redeemer's volunteers for the Community Soup Kitchen are needed
for the following roles:
Shoppers: supplies of perishables need to be delivered to
the Soup Kitchen to be used for our guests' lunches on dates when
Redeemer is responsible for providing support. Volunteers are reimbursed
for the expense.
Servers: a total of 10 volunteers are asked to arrive on
Sundays at 11:30am and stay until 1:00pm. They will be responsible
for serving our guests only.
Kitchen Help: Four kitchen volunteers arrive at 9:30am and
stay until 1:30pm, working with the CSK co-ordinator and cook. Volunteers
will work solely in the kitchen. Training in Safe Food Handling
is required before you can work as kitchen help.

the date!! February 12 is Jazz Mass Sunday, when we will
also welcome the people of Bethel AME as our guests at the 10:30am
service. The Rev. Sidney Williams will preach. Plan to come - and
bring a friend! There will be no Sunday School classes that morning,
as the children will be invited to participate in the service.
